Let's make no mistake, he was an asshole, he engaged in predatory market practices in an attempt to be a monopoly, and he obviously was educated with all the -isms of his time... but he's also been dead for what? Ten years? Longer? It must be nice living such charmed existence as to not having anything better to worry about than some long dead neckbeard (especially in our current societal collapse).
I mean, journos and other bottom-feeders who live scrounging for -anything- to post in their slavery to the 24/7 "news" cycle? Sure, making mountains out of molehills is how they put food on the table... now what's everyone else's excuse for such low hanging fruit dunking? What's YOUR excuse? It's the laziest form of clout chasing if you ask me.
Want to actually practice what you preach? Well, we have ACTUAL NAZIS at our doorstep (or whichever brand of fascist at your country), denounce them, confront them, fight them. We have actual people being persecuted (from minorities to the press and otherwise "enemies of the state"), protect those you can. We have mobs with torches at the yard of the New Alexandria Library, archive all that you can, protect your local libraries, donate to wikipedia and the internet archive. The arts as a whole stand on the brink of disappearing as a viable livelihood, refuse to consume anything that uses plagiarizing software. THAT is clout I respect, not dunking on some long-dead neckbeard.
